Eye surgery is safer than contacts
According to a number of recent studies, eye surgery is now safer than wearing contacts to correct vision problems.
In fact, Dr. William Mathers at the Oregon Health and Science University reviewed a large number of these studies and concluded that :
Wearing contacts increases the risk of infection and ultimately vision loss. Surgery to correct vision problems had a much lower risk of complications and vision loss.
